There's plenty to see and do around the farm, and the Turrialba region of Costa Rica offers many more activities... so come for a few days!
A tropical garden, developed over 2 generations, surrounds the house. This is one of the best spots for birdwatching specially in the early morning. A family of sloths also lives in the trees around the house, you're likely to see them all year round. There is a short forest trail that leads to a tropical botanical garden with many species of plants and trees, and there's even benches along the way to sit, read, relax, have picnic and birdwatch!
Even if you decide to spend the day at the farm, you will have plenty of activities for all ages! A swimming pool, picnic areas along trails and tropical garden trails are some activities you can enjoy at anytime during your stay.
Turrialba is a great spot for birdwatching. Here you can have a quality session without even leaving the house! Dozens of bird species frequent our garden and bird feeders all year long. Make sure to pack your binoculars and to visit the gardens in the early morning when birds visit us the most!
